All modifications or additions involving Common Property (exterior doors, windows, patios, decks, landscaping, building structure, etc. require approval by the Board of Managers via submittal of an Architectural Review Request. Exterior doors, decks and possibly patios require a building permit.

 

There are City of Poughkeepsie building code and permit requirements also for some work in units i.e., new furnaces, water heaters and changes/additions to structure, plumbing (fixtures), electrical, etc. Owners planning such work should inquire with the City Building Department.
