Project Update 11/7

Below is the project status as of today 11/7:
- Reclaimation is complete in Phase 2 area.
- The main road through Phase 2 has been compacted and can be driven on tonight. Parking areas in phase 2 should not be used because of their condition.
- Compacting and regrading in preparation of paving is planned for Tuesday.
- Phase 2 area must be vacated by 7AM on Tuesday and travel will be restricted as it was Monday.
- Some work on the Bldg 5 retaining wall front may start on Tuesday.
- Binder asphalt course as well as walkway paving is expected Wednesday or Thursday. Some rain is forecast for Wednesday and it's impact is TBD.
- Weather depending, final top asphalt course is hoped to be completed by Friday with restriping to follow. As in Phase 1, after final asphalt course there will be no non-emergency travel or parking at least overnight.
- A determination on Phase 3 (Downing Place) start will be made Weds. or Thurs. based on weather forecasts for the week of 11/14.
