Project Update 11/8

Below is the project status as of today 11/8:
- The majority of regrading has been completed in Phase 2 area. Final compacting is needed before the asphalt binder course is put down on Wednesday (hopefully).
- Rain is forecast for Wednesday 11/9. This may impact paving and by how much will not be known until in the morning.
- Depending on the weather and Wednesday's progress we are now looking at a best case completion day of Saturday. This would be pushed to Monday if Wednesday's work is limited by rain. In which case, we believe the binder course to be done by this Friday and that would allow traffic and parking over the weekend. We will keep you posted on that.
- Paving of walkways would take place after the binder course is down.
- A decision on Phase 3 (Downing Place) start will be made at completion of Phase 2 and the forecast for next week. Phase 3, being the smallest project section, is expected to take the shortest time and be least inconvenient.
